Training starts after 90 completed days with at least 65% coverage of operating hours. The latest 28 days are held out for validation. Ridge regression is adopted only if its error is at least 5% lower than weekday averages. Current model: Provisional calendar model.
Provisional model coefficients are not trained. Forecast ranges illustrate possible variation, not statistical confidence intervals. Events, weather, closures and admission restrictions are not included. Distant dates are less certain. Japanese holidays use Cabinet Office open data.
